Our Flour Millers are essential to the production team, responsible for ensuring that each batch of flour meets our high standards. These team members oversee the milling process, maintain equipment, and monitor grain quality to produce premium gluten-free flours. We’re hiring multiple Flour Millers over the next five years as we continue to expand.
Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor milling equipment for optimal performance
Adjust machinery settings to produce various flour types, including organic and gluten-free
Conduct quality checks on grains before and after milling
Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure consistency and compliance with health regulations
Work with production and packaging teams to meet daily production targets
Maintain milling equipment and troubleshoot minor issues to reduce downtime
Customer Service Representatives
Our Customer Service Representatives are dedicated to providing exceptional support, ensuring that customers enjoy a seamless experience with our products. These team members respond to inquiries, handle orders, and resolve any issues, contributing to our strong customer relationships. We’re hiring two Customer Service Representatives as our customer base grows.
Responsibilities:
Address customer inquiries and assist with product information and order processing
Resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner
Work with the Sales and Production teams to ensure clear communication on orders
Process returns and exchanges as needed
Collect customer feedback and relay it to relevant departments for continuous improvement
Support the sales team in achieving customer satisfaction and loyalty goals
Packaging Workers
Our Packaging Workers ensure that our gluten-free products are packaged securely and in compliance with quality and safety standards. This team is essential to maintaining product freshness and preparing items for distribution to stores and online customers. We’re adding multiple Packaging Workers over the next five years to support our growing production needs.
Responsibilities:
Prepare packaging materials and fill, seal, and label product bags accurately
Collaborate with the Production team to meet daily packaging and output goals
Inspect finished products for quality and safety before packaging
Follow best practices for packaging to prevent contamination and maintain freshness
Maintain a clean and organized packaging area
Monitor packaging supplies and report low stock to management
Sales Representatives
Our Sales Representatives play a key role in growing Prairie Grain Artisan Ltd.’s market reach. These team members identify new business opportunities, build partnerships, and develop relationships with clients to increase brand awareness and drive sales. We’re hiring three Sales Representatives over the next five years to support our expansion goals.
Responsibilities:
Identify potential clients and new business opportunities within the health-focused food market
Build relationships with retailers, distributors, and direct consumers
Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and align sales strategies
Analyze market trends and provide feedback to the production team to match demand
Represent the company at events, trade shows, and farmers’ markets as needed
Help increase brand visibility and market presence through direct outreach
Purchasing and Inventory Control Workers
Our Purchasing and Inventory Control Workers are responsible for managing stock levels, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth supply chain. This role involves tracking inventory, conducting audits, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels. We’re hiring two Inventory Control Workers as the company expands its operations.
Responsibilities:
Process purchase orders and maintain records of inventory levels
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies
Track stock movements and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment
Optimize inventory control procedures to reduce waste and improve efficiency
Collaborate with Procurement and Operations teams to ensure a seamless flow of materials
Analyze inventory data to forecast needs and support production planning
